20 Boss Fights That Actually Get Easier
1. Omega Flowey - Undertale (2015)
Toby Fox's cult gem Undertale is adored for its whimsical art style, fourth-wall-breaking gameplay, and sensational soundtrack. It's also known for containing some incredibly tough bosses, with Sans, Undyne, and Muffet being just some of the mammoth hurdles players will need to overcome to see the end credits. Another tremendously difficult addition is Omega Flowey.
Endearingly dubbed Photoshop Flowey by the fan community, this diabolical flower is encountered at the end of the Neutral Route, at which point he transforms into a Lovecraftian nightmare complete with a TV on his head that shows a face screaming in agony.
The fight is absolute chaos as Flowey bombards players with non-stop attacks that engulf the entire screen. He'll even save and reload the game mid-battle to catch players in attacks.
It's only after surviving all seven phases and freeing the trapped souls that the tide begins to turn. Not only will the souls lower Flowey's defence to zero so that players can deal damage to him, but they'll also continue to drop healing items to ensure players can stay on their feet.
While defeating Flowey is still insanely difficult, achieving victory at this point no longer feels like an impossible feat.
