20 Most Frustratingly Difficult Video Game Levels Of All Time

7. Alien €˜Auto€™topsy Part III (The Simpsons: Hit and Run)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnxfEbw3waw The Simpsons TV show has spawned a plethora of games of varying quality including The Simpsons Arcade Game, Road Rage, The Simpsons Skateboarding and the hugely popular mobile game The Simpsons: Tapped Out, but one of the better console releases is The Simpsons: Hit and Run. Released for the Xbox, GameCube and PlayStation 2 in 2003, The Simpsons Hit and Run is an action-adventure game which saw you play as members of The Simpsons family while they try to figure out why so many strange incident are occurring and ascertaining the sinister involvement of Buzz Cola in these inexplicable events. The last mission of the game sees you take control of Grandpa€™s car. First you have to race an alien car to the power plant. As this car is much faster, the success of this relies on you utilising shortcuts and not crashing despite travelling at speeds that even Otto would shake his drug-addled head at. You then have a minute to collect nuclear waste and take it to the school; at about the halfway point another alien car appears which you yet again have to avoid. If you manage to complete this shopping list of tasks you complete the mission. However, developers Radical Entertainment made this final level so cruelly difficult that hundreds of players who had enjoyed the compelling game to that point were unable to enjoy the satisfaction of beating it. WhatCulture Tip: Drill the shortcuts into your brain. It€™s only by using them that you have a chance of completing it!
