20 Most Frustratingly Difficult Video Game Levels Of All Time

14. Radec (Killzone 2)

After fighting your way through the Visari Palace €“ a hard enough task to begin with €“ you reach the final boss fight of the game with Mael Radec, leader of the accursed Helghast. Before facing the man himself, Radec sends his forces to try and make his job easier. While you€™re fighting this vast number of Helghast, Radec remains at the back of the room taking shots at you. If you fire at him, you won€™t kill him right away €“ he€™ll just disappear for a little bit, in-keeping with his cowardly nature. He then orders his men to drop the Palace€™s ornate chandeliers on you, so you have these giant falling balls of glass to contend with as well as the scores of enemies. There are many RPG-wielding Helghast who try to ruin your fun and the fact you have to revive your partner Rico doesn€™t aid in the battle, often dragging you out of position or preventing you from efficiently whittling down their numbers. When you finally get to fight Radec, he can make himself invisible - which makes for an extremely tough challenge - and if he gets you twice, you'll die and start again. This boss fight is time-consuming, even for the elite player amongst us, and is frustratingly difficult. WhatCulture Tip: Always revive Rico; the Helghast then have two people to concentrate on rather than just you.
