20. Bionic Commando - Hitler Explodes
Who wouldn't enjoy watching one of history's worst war criminals and dictators have his head blown into smithereens? I'm talking about Hitler, of course, although in the English translation of the game, he's referred to as 'Master-D'. It may not look particularly gory by today's standards, but in the 1980s, graphic depictions of violence (especially on a Nintendo console) were virtually unheard of.
