There's only one thing worse than being gobbled up by a giant mutant worm the size of a skyscraper, and that's having to escape the innards of said monstrosity by chainsawing through its giant, gelatinous heart. Marcus, Dom and the rest of the crew get swallowed whole by the Locust war machine that is the Riftworm in Gears Of War 2, but instead of resigning themselves to a death involving being digested by stomach acid and native parasites, Delta-One squad persevere, quite literally, through the belly of the beast to escape its horrors. It's bad enough that the floor, walls and ceiling around constantly pulsate with with circulating fluids, but that's just the start. Not content with just escaping, the team go chainsaw-happy on the beast's heart, severing the organ's valves and promptly flooding the whole damn thing with thick, gloopy blood. And just to top it all off, escape involves cutting straight through the side of the Riftworm to reach the freedom of the outside world.
