13. House Of The Dead (Series)

Traditionally, the gamer has to reload every time a magazine has been spent, whilst shooting their way through a series of levels, killing bosses and protecting innocents. One of the oldest arcade-style zombie survival games, House of the Dead has been going since 1996.

12. Call Of Duty (Series)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vfEMCyKeCQ Call of Duty basically involves you shooting and blowing up as many enemy soldiers as possible, whilst not always gory, there was one scene in Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 3 which saw you throw someone out of a helicopter before stabbing the antagonist of the game in the throat, punching him in the face atop a glass roof, wrapping a chord around his neck and hanging him as you both crashed through the glass, then smoking a cigar as you watch the life ebb out of him.
