So it may of been short, but when Another World (or Out Of This World in North America) was released, it took peoples breath away. The action-platformer was like playing an actual movie, and not in a rubbish, Dragons Lair type of way. The vector graphics, cutscenes, and fantastic musical score, all made it one of the most memorable games to be released on the Amiga. Another World was a big influence on many of the leading game designers working today, with Metal Gear Solids Hideo Kojima naming it as one of the five games that influenced him most.
