20 Greatest Ever Beat Em Up Video Game Characters

8. Heihachi (Tekken)

Heihachi is one of the most iconic and important characters in the Tekken series, and even hardcore fans may have lost track of how many times he has died and come back to life. He may not be as relevant in newer entries as he once was, but in effect he is always going to be the Godfather of the franchise. Despite being an extremely old man, he's proof that age is merely a number, being one of the most fierce characters in the series, and one of the more annoying final bosses I had to fight against as a kid. Though the Tekken series often picks demons and impossible monsters as its final bosses, Heihachi does one better because he's actually developed as a human being, and his character history has stayed pretty consistent throughout his tenure in the games. Still, if you want to see something a little different, check out his creepy and ridiculous young equivalent in Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Not for me.
