18 Greatest Video Game Villains Of The 2000s

13. Lance Vance - Gramd Theft Auto: Vice City

What's worse than a spoilt brat of a villain who needs a fist-first serving of justice? A turncoat snake-in-the-grass who's prepped knife guts you from behind right when you least expect it, that's what. It's testament to just how much fun Lance was to be around throughout the entirety of GTA's campaign that nobody saw his betrayal looming on the horizon, making for one of the fastest transferances of adoration to seething hatred when you realised it was Vance you'd be tracking down to finish the campaign. Even worse was the fact saving his skin earlier in the game was one of the worst and most cheaply annoying levels in gaming history - although perhaps this was Rockstar's way of making you despise the guy all along?
