By the time we made it to the sixteenth and final colossus in Team Ico's magnificent adventure game, it truly felt like we'd been on a long, exhausting adventure, even if the game only lasts around 10 hours. The boss fight must be taken on alone, as Wander's trusty steed Agro falls from the broken bridge moments before it begins: this is it, the final encounter. Malus is an absolutely awe-inspiring last boss, a gigantic, statuesque creature who fires huge fiery projectiles at you which deal massive damage. After navigating the route to Malus through a series of tunnels, you'll eventually reach him and have to climb him like the mountainous beast that he is. Whenever you reach one of his sigils, however, he'll try his damnedest to hurl you off, making this easily the most challenging boss fight in the game. After a long, drawn out battle that can easily last close to an hour, killing Malus signals the end of Wander's journey, and the brilliant summation of everything that has led to this point. The feeling of satisfaction at plunging Wander's blade into a sigil one last time has rarely been equaled in gaming since.
