8. Finn Bálor/Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden)
Appearing to be a normal human (if the Dragon Ninja can be called a normal anything), Ryu Hayabusa is actually a demon/human hybrid, a man with a foot in each of those worlds. Although he looks like a pleasant young man underneath that mask, Ryu has been through a lot in a relatively short time, giving him a fresh perspective on the brutality of life. He continues to remain in control of himself through his indomitable willpower, well past the point of his own death. He simply refuses to bow to the corruption of the grave, or of his demon side - a quality that sweetheart babyface Finn Bálor can lay claim to as well, given that hes managed to harness the power of his outlandishly body-painted Demon persona to rule the main event of NXT since July last year, when he defeated Kevin Owens in Tokyo to become the NXT Champion. Finn Bálors also had an eventful life crammed into a short space of time - as Fergal Devitt, later Prince Devitt, he started wrestling at eighteen and opened his own promotion - NWA Ireland - at only twenty years old or thereabouts. At only thirty-four years old, hes a sixteen year veteran and a battle-scarred old warhorse from his time in Japan: kicking people in the face for money since the year 2000.
