Breath of the Wild had the advantage of being an unknown quantity, whereas its sequel has six years of anticipation to live up to. Then again, nobody expected Nintendo to become kings of the open-world genre with their first try, so only a fool would bet against Tears of the Kingdom being anything other than another storming success.
