20. Gran Turismo Sport

Release Date: October 17 (PS4)

The Hype: It's fair to say that the Gran Turismo series has lost some of its lustre in recent years after a fairly indifferent response to the last two core releases, and the belief among many fans that Gran Turismo Sport is basically just a stop-gap until Polyphony Digital gets done making Gran Turismo 7.

Still, it's the first GT game on PS4 and comes with PSVR support (albeit in a limited capacity), so it's hard not to be at least somewhat intrigued by what PD cooks up.

It's probably best not to expect a major return to form, considering that the game is still effectively a smaller slice of a mainline title, but in the least it should prove what the franchise is capable of on contemporary tech.
