20 Most Replayable Video Game Moments Of The 2000s

15. God Of War II (2007) - Toppling The Colossus

God of War II remains one of the best combo-based action games to this day, and introduces itself with one of the most memorable boss fights in the series. You begin in Rhodes, with Kratos deftly swiping his way through hordes of undead legionnaires. Just a few minutes in though, and Zeus possesses the Colossus or Rhodes statue with an insatiable urge to stomp Kratos. The result is an epic boss battle that takes place across several different areas, with the megalithic monstrosity tearing Rhodes apart in a bit to take you down. The battle itself isn't too hard, but it's still an exhilarating 20-minute ride, and the perfect introduction to a game. God of War II is fantastic throughout, but it may have been a bit of a misjudgement to place arguably the best boss battle right at the start of the game. On the bright side, it's a perfect replayable moment because you don't need to play through any of the game to get to it!
