It's once again possible that Slowbro's popularity may now begin to rise again thanks to the mass introduction of Slowpokes into our lives with Pokémon Go, but for now the thing is startlingly underused in main series Pokémon battles. For a start, an Oblivious Slowbro can be completely immune to the effects of the well-used Attract or Taunt attacks in battle.

Next up, consider the arsenal of STAB-boosted attacks that Slowbro has at its disposal. Psychic, Zen Headbutt and Water Pulse are all available through levelling up. In addition to this you can also deck your Slowbro out with moves like Psyshock and Scald with TM use.

Slowbro is adept at dealing with physical damage, but its in Special Attack that it does the most in return. Filling its moveset with attacks like Scald and Confusion that can also offer secondary status effects is the way to get the best out of it. Slowbro may look a little daft, but it can decimate a team with the right move focus!
