Crystal Dynamics' Shakespearian take on gothic mythology led to a string of spectacularly overlooked games, sadly left on the back-burner now the developer are continually iterating on Lara Croft instead. The first sees you as Raziel, an undead vampire cast out his order for 'daring' to evolve past leader, Kain. The entire thing is written extremely well, with Raziel's initial thirst for vengeance being the perfect primer to see him take on a Revenant-style 'back from the brink' adventure. The last narrative instalment was WAY back in 2003 (LoK: Defiance) with the latest being 2015's extremely unnecessary arena shooter, Nosgoth. You simply need to experience LoK's awesome environments that are so densely packed with eastern horror and western monster design, making it a true gem of a bygone decade in desperate need of continuation.
