20 Problems Only People Dating Gamers Will Understand

11. Gifts = $$$$ And Little To No Variety

€œHey love, I€™m going to start shopping for Christmas. What€™s on your list?€ €œWell, I was hoping to get some new fans for the computer, but I really want this new pair of Turtle Beach headphones. Oh, and that game is finally coming out for PS4, but what I really want is to complete that collectible bobble head set of the Fall Out 3 Vault-Tec guys. I€™ve only got five left to find.€ While gifting is more about giving than receiving, no one wants to buy a present they know their SO isn€™t going to be happy with right off the bat. Whether you just get one thing off their wish list and clutter them with $5 scarves and matching mittens, you€™re still expecting to drop at least $100 in gaming merchandise. Games themselves are pretty expensive; new releases or special editions more so. Equipment and gear, at least higher end stuff, are at least two dollar signs. When you start getting into the more serious stuff, like collectibles, well, you€™re a better SO than you think.
