Truly one of the best sleuth games of all time, Sly Raccoon sees you play as a particularly sneaky trash panda as he tries to live up to his family heritage and become a master thief. The aim of the game is to restore all the pages of the Thievius Raccoonus, a family book passed down through generations for each owner to add their own techniques for stealing - which ironically, were stolen themselves by the fiendish five. That’s got to sting a bit.

Featuring a sassy Fox from Interpol, a Voodoo priestess crocodile, and a gangster dog running a sprawling gambling empire to name just a few, Sly Raccoon features some of the most imaginative and engaging characters to populate its charming world, and is animated in such a way that doesn’t let its age show though the game play.

Learning a whole array of stealth moves from spire jumping to explosive hats, there's a host of minigames to complement the main plot that you can practice your thieving ways on, making the game endlessly revistable from the first entry through to the third.

After graduating with a First-Class Honours in History from Northumbria University in 2017 (where he won a prize for a totally killer dissertation on the Watergate years), Ewan took on the role of Comics Editor at WhatCulture and quickly developed WhatCulture Comics into one of the biggest superhero-focused channels on YouTube. He followed this with a brief hiatus at Screen Rant in 2021, where he worked across the Gaming and Film sections as a writer and editor, before returning to WhatCulture as a Senior Content Producer / Presenter in 2023. He started his own podcast, We Love Dad Movies, in 2022, and has contributed several written pieces to the Eisner-nominated comics website Shelfdust as well. In his current role, Ewan incorporates his love of cinema, comic books, and history into written pieces and video essays for WhatCulture's Film & TV channel, as well as WhatCulture Gaming and WhatCulture Horror, with a particular focus on nineties-era Dad Movies, old school Westerns, and Golden Age Hollywood Noir.
