20 Reasons 2017's Biggest Video Games Might Suck

11. Cloud-Based Gameplay Is A Total Failure - Crackdown 3

Why It Might Suck: Crackdown 3's big selling point has been the fact that online play will be powered by cloud technology, allowing an insane amount of persistent destruction to take place that a single Xbox One could never pull off.

However, the game was announced almost three years ago, has been continually delayed and now word has gone incredibly quiet. Assuming the game actually makes its planned late-2017 window, there's no guarantee all that cloud tech is going to hold up given how failure-prone servers can be during a big game launch.

Plus, maybe the destruction just isn't as impressive as Microsoft thinks it is.

Why It Might Not: Perhaps Microsoft will come running out of the gate at E3 with a near-finished, polished game that looks amazing, and will blow us all away upon release.

Maybe they are just aware that they announced the game too early and don't want to reveal anymore until they're in a position to give a release date. It happens.
