17. Characters Don't Transfer Over - Destiny 2
Why It Might Suck: There's been a lot of mixed signals about whether or not your Destiny characters will transfer over to the sequel due for release later this year.
With the game apparently planned for release on PC alongside consoles, reports stated that Bungie wanted to start fresh and, alongside avoiding the mistakes that plagued the original game, put everyone on a level playing field.
Bungie commented a few months after these rumours that they're favouring the idea of an epic, decade-long journey with your character, but stopped short of actually confirming that characters will transfer over.
If character transfer doesn't happen, it's going to be a huge deal-breaker for a lot of players.
Why It Might Not: Again, this one's still rather up in the air, and it's possible that the utter player disgust to the news last year may have given Bungie enough pause to actually change their minds.
Then again, if they'd pulled a 180, wouldn't they let it be known ASAP, in order to cut down on all those negative vibes within the fanbase?
