20 Ridiculously Low Game Ratings You Won’t Believe

7. Disgaea D2: 74

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5MjlMz9ylY Disgaea D2 is a sort of sequel to the original Disgaea game. Once again featuring Laharl, Etna, and Flonne, we see the outcome of Laharl conquering his dad€™s Netherworld. As a group of former retainers plots a coup, and flowers from the Angel world appear, Laharl is mysteriously transformed into a woman. The trio begins a quest to find out the cause of the mysteries while defending Laharl€™s title. It€™s a Disgaea game. What could be wrong with it? Seemingly, it just didn€™t €œinnovate€ enough. To be honest, Disgaea D2 doesn€™t have the PSN multiplayer content from Disgaea 4, which is slightly disappointing. Not mentioned by reviewers, most of the extra unlockables that made previous games very re-playable is now behind a DLC paywall. It's a shame to see that an actual problem like that isn't mentioned by any of the "journalists". Yet, the critics main problems tended to be that it€™s script was too €œworkmanlike€. Some said the gameplay was too simple, others found it to complex. In other words, disinterested reviewers who can€™t see the merits of a game beyond their own tastes.
