20 Ridiculously Low Game Ratings You Won’t Believe

19. Call Of Duty: Black Ops II: 83 (PS3 & X360)

Call of Duty is one of the biggest (and perhaps most overhyped) game series of the last decade. It€™s safe to say it's a pop-culture phenomenon on the level of Doom or even Pokémon. Black Ops II is the high point in terms of sales and gameplay of the series. The multiplayer mode has flaws that are apparent to pros and avid players, but by and large it€™s nearly perfect. The Zombies mode has established it€™s own fandom, and is pretty much the penultimate incarnation of the Zombies series. The main campaign is undeniably the best the franchise has offered. Many Call of Duty campaigns are trite (though still fun) affairs where you play through a movie presented as a FPS game. BOII has multiple endings, the ability to choose your loadouts, and you even level up throughout the course of the campaign. It still holds your hand a little, but it€™s the closest it€™s come to breaking away from the scripted campaign syndrome. So, to give BOII an 83 is ludicrous - something more in the range of 87-90 would be more appropriate. It's easily the best instalment in the series since the first two Modern Warfare games, and remains a must have for any PS3/X360 owners.
