20 Severely Underrated Pokémon That Deserve A Second Chance

7. Snorlax

Snorlax Y/Y
Nintendo

Often caught just to stop the beast blocking a crucial path in the games, Snorlax actually represents a lot more than many people think. Anyone who's come up against one in a competitive battle will tell you; a well-trained Snorlax is not an easy thing to take down.

What it lacks in all-out attack power, Snorlax more than makes up in its ability to frustrate an opponent. Its mighty HP stat and decent defensive capabilities make it a tank able to withstand powerful attacks but, better still, the use of Rest and Substitute can help waste your opponent's greatest attacks and deplete their PP before the rest of your team can come in and clean up the field.

You may not win friends for using Snorlax, but you'll certainly win battles by squeezing the life out of them!
