20 Severely Underrated Pokémon That Deserve A Second Chance

5. Swampert

Like Seismitoad earlier, Swampert has one of the best type combinations in the game. As a Water/Ground type, it moves from being weak against electric types to actually turning the tables completely and being able to swiftly despatch them with Ground type moves.

While a little slower than Seismitoad at base level, Swampert is much more powerful in attacking and defensive areas and can be decked out with STAB-ready moves like Muddy Water and Earthquake to deal massive damage on the battlefield.

Like most Water types, Swampert can also be taught numerous Ice attacks if you really want to help it stand up strong on all fronts and dish out some sweet revenge to otherwise superior Grass types.

Suggested Moveset:
Muddy Water
Earthquake
Surf
Ice Beam
