8. Timesplitters: Future Perfect

With it's heady mix of blistering action, ingenious level design and over-the-top antics, the Timesplitters franchise is beloved by legions of die-hard fans who await it's triumphant return. And If there's any franchise begging for a revival, it's this. The last installment, Future Perfect, took everything the franchise is known for and pushes it to the nth degree - with a cornucopia of new modes and characters, and a time-travel story that takes you through several eras; from the 1920s, all the way into the far-flung corners of the 25th century. One minute you could be gallivanting around a castle in the Scotland hills, and fighting for your life in a zombie-infested mansion in the next. There was nothing else like it, and when you threw in a ridiculously addictive multiplayer component, Future Perfect became the stuff of legend.
