15. When A Character's Clothing Can Get Wet
Another one for the 'pointless but cool' pile. Uncharted's pioneering of 'wet clothing' tech is something rarely carried across to any other developer - mostly because they're too busy making sure their main characters'
faces aren't falling off at a moment's notice. Still, from Drake's soaked jeans (steady on) to Witcher 3's Geralt emerging from a quick dip with darker textures and a few seconds of dripping 'animation', there's something kinda cool about acknowledging you've waded into wetter territory. Now, who out there does the thing where you'll incrementally edge forward, just to see which parts of the character you can get wet?
