7. Ridiculous Levels of Achievement
You're not even sure how it happened, but one day, you started off an epic quest to acquire as many pointless points and/or trophies as possible all in the name of making yourself look slightly better than the two or three other people on your gaming platform's friend list. You now own a ridiculous amount of achievements and trophies, including from games you've played just to bolster your score, and have in reality achieved absolutely nothing.
6. Sniff Sniff
Wow, there's nothing quite like that rich aroma that is emitted only by the brand spanking new gaming manual now is there? If you find yourself sniffing a manual in between gameplay sections on a game/after opening the case, that's probably a sign you're far too into your games. Pro tip: don't let the missus spot you sniffing a manual. Relationships have been ended for much less.
5. You Have Forgotten What Trousers Are
Remember these things? They're meant to go over your underwear and are usually better accepted as clothing when out in public. If you look down one day when playing games and discover you have in fact not managed to put on a pair of trousers and are sitting in two-day old underpants, it's really time to worry.
4. You're A Public Embarrassment
You're such a whiz at games, you'll show anyone who will listen/view you the bestest moves ever when you're out in public. Whether you're at the arcade acting like this lunatic above, playing on Dancing Stage Universe with a throng of admirers or simply shouting at your DS like some demented mental asylum escapee, you're surely officially a public embarrassment.
3. You've Got Gamer Rage
After fully embracing a gaming lifestyle, it is now extremely important to send everyone you meet online ridiculous, childish and pointless messages that are derogatory and silly. It's also incredibly important to shout loudly at all times through your headset whilst simultaneously listening to douchey music and making it sound like you're currently trying to insert your mic up your backside.
2. A Gaming Holiday
Stick your middle finger up at work, you're off on holiday! You don't take time off work to spend a few days out in the sun on a tropical beach or explore the world, instead you've timed your holidays perfectly so you can get a full week or two in with the latest game. Time well spent.
