Of course, if you were feeling particularly clever, you could always leave your name as the infinitely hilarious 'ASS'. 14. Magazine Reviews There was a time when magazines were just about the only source of informed video game reviews, beyond Timmy down the road claimg Super Mario Bros. 3 was "a bit shit". While printed video game magazines aren't quite dead just yet, it's hard not to miss the masses of colourful choices available on the stands. 13. Phoning Up For Hints And Codes Okay, this one was actually a bit silly. It was once something of a rite of passage for every gamer though, to nervously dial the number on your house phone (while the parents are out), and get gaming advice from a stranger.
