19. Grand Theft Auto V
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vzue74y7A84 It just doesn't seem right to make a list like this and not include Grand Theft Auto V. Arguably the most anticipated title of 2013, GTA V looks to be one of the grandest, most epic video games ever created. Rockstar is bringing the series back to the San Andreas city of Los Santos, and at the same time adding some new ingredients to the GTA formula that has been so successful for them in the past decade. Why it will be awesome: While the game remains one of the most critically-acclaimed titles of the PS360 generation, Grand Theft Auto IV has left a mixed legacy with gamers across the board. Everything that we've seen about Grand Theft Auto V so far seems to indicate that the series is moving back to its lighthearted, humorous, satirical roots - something that GTA seemed to move away from in the fourth game with its more serious tone. GTA V will also allow players to actively rotate between three protagonists during missions, which is something that has never been seen before in games of this magnitude. Speaking of magnitude, Rockstar has indicated that Los Santos and its surrounding areas will be by far the largest game world they have ever created. However, what is potentially the most exciting prospect about GTA V is the gameplay refinements that should shine throughout the game. Since the the release of GTA IV, Rockstar has released Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3, and GTA V should benefit from the refinements those games made with regards to open-world gameplay and shooting, respectively.
