Smart, independent and streetwise, Jade is a seemingly innocent, tomboyish young woman with a tough, capable streak, a description that definitely applies to Mrs. Brooks as well. Lees family are from Puerto Rico, a multi-ethnic melting pot including Spanish, European, African and the indigenous Taino people; while Jade is a mish-mash of ethnicities, none of which are central to her character (as the game is based on another world). Both women became well known in their respective milieu - Lee in professional wrestling, Jade as a fictional avatar running around being all Crofty - for representing real women instead of garish fantasy figures. Finally, Jade rescues orphan children, while Lee is passionately involved with animal welfare groups and charities. Children are basically little animals, so those things are therefore identical. Shut up, they are.
