20 WWE Stars And Their Video Game Counterparts

1. Daniel Bryan & Crash Bandicoot

The original figurehead for Playstation, Crash Bandicoot was their answer to rivals Sega and Nintendo, who€™d set out their store with the legendary likes of Sonic The Hedgehog and Mario, respectively. An intensely bouncy, cheerful loon, Crash was perfect for the platform style. Going toe to toe with a giant like Mario for the top spot was always going to be a worry. Crash was great - receiving rave reviews for his animation, appearance and gameplay, if not for his voice, which people weren€™t thrilled with, and which received mainly negative reviews. The Crash Bandicoot franchise was a big hit for Playstation€ but the games have fallen by the wayside, and recent attempts to reboot and revitalise the franchise and the character have met with failure, the designers going back to the drawing board. In 2016, there are also licensing issues, rendering it debatable whether they€™ll even be able to bring him back at all€ and if they do, will anyone still care enough to make Crash Bandicoot the success it once was? Intense, bouncy and cheerful, a critically acclaimed top level star character, rave reviews for the character€™s performance, negative reviews for his voice, the failure of the franchise, the significant issues and setbacks to bringing it back to success again, pessimism as to whether there will even be a new game at all. *heavy sigh* Does any of that sound familiar? Give us your favourite wrestler (if he or she isn€™t on this list) and tell us which video game character complements them the best. 1000 Internet Points to the best and the brightest!
