20 WWE Stars And Their Video Game Counterparts

12. Beth Phoenix & Samus Aran (Metroid)

Super Metroid's Player's Guide describes Samus as an athletic woman, 6 foot 3 inches tall, weighing just shy of two hundred pounds. WWE€™s Glamazon may not have been quite that size, but she certainly acted like she was, and never came close to compromising her femininity in the process. Where Samus Aran is one of the single greatest female characters in all of gaming, as big in her way as Ellen Ripley was in hers, Beth Phoenix did her bit for wrestling history too: she came in and faced off against the men in the WWE as well as the women, becoming only the second woman in history to be entered into the Royal Rumble, eliminating the seven foot giant The Great Khali on her own. Chyna's another story, of course.
