20. EA Wasted Half Their Conference On Sports & Mobile Gaming (Again)
EA will probably never learn their lesson when it comes to staging an interesting E3 conference, and as soon as the words, "Let's talk about mobile" rang out, many gamers lost hope. Rather than spend more time on their AAA titles, the conference delved into Star Wars and Minions mobile games that likely nobody "hardcore" enough to watch the conferences cared about (except for the shareholders, of course). Then came the glut of annualised sports franchises being shown off, including that awkward chat with Pele to promote FIFA 16 before finally getting back to business with Mirror's Edge: Catalyst. These sports games are going to sell like hotcakes no matter what: did more than half an hour really need to be wasted on all this casual nonsense?
