12. All The Pointless Crowd Shots
Something that was particularly irritating during the Microsoft and Ubisoft conferences was the show's director constantly cutting to a camera view of the crowd during gameplay footage.
Yes, everyone knows they're watching E3: they don't need to be reminded of it every minute or so. All it does is detract from the gameplay viewers are trying to get immersed in, and seemingly serves no other logical function.
Is there some sort of benefit to viewing the crowd that we're all missing? Or this just the directors misguidedly believing that they need to do this to remind everyone what they're watching? It's terrible either way.
