23 Biggest WTF Moments From E3 2016
8. Nintendo's Painful Zelda Livestream
While there's no doubting that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild looks absolutely terrific, Nintendo sure went about the most a**-backwards way of demonstrating this.
Firstly, after a lush trailer at the beginning of their Day 1 Treehouse livestream, fans were then forced to wait almost another hour, suffering through some fairly inconsequential Pokemon Sun and Moon gameplay and some dead air downtime, before getting their proper Zelda gameplay fix. The Twitter meltdown proved that fans were not at all happy.
In addition, Bill Trinen, who was demoing the game for us, forgot to turn off the demo timer, and so had to restart from the beginning mid-way through the stream, underlining just how unprofessional and frustrating the whole presentation was.
Seriously, Nintendo?
