21. SSX Tricky
The first, a launch day title that made a million peoples' Christmases all at once, the third a brilliant instalment that expanded the track design into an open-world approach, but the second SSX? That would be The One To Rule Them All.
From the opening beats of Run DMC's 'It's Tricky' that sounded out across every TV advert to the moment you landed your first special Uber trick as certain parts of that song were timed just right, EA BIG's idea of making Tricky's minute-to-minute gameplay feel like jacking into some hyper-fast candy-coloured snowscape was a feeling like no other.
That, and the fact that the cast of characters within were all brought to life by perfectly-cast media figures, ranging from David Arquette's iconic Eddie to Macy Grey's Seeiah and one Nick Malaperiman, who made Moby Jones ("Superstar!") a total legend. Of all the franchises that've gone by the wayside (save for the reboot of sorts that was the 2012 release), it's about time a Tricky-themed sequel reared its much-requested head.
