From game mechanics to overall presentation and especially an immaculate script, Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley craft a tale that is routed in zombie fiction, but serves to ask the direct question:

It's no wonder TLoU was remastered only a year later to sit nicely on the PS4; it's production quality really is something else. After 30 years in the business, Naughty Dog proved once again that resting on their laurels is just not in their vocabulary.
