25 Unforgettable Moments In Video Game Physics

12. Brutally Dying in Limbo

Limbo's striking aesthetic was equal parts eerie, strangely beautiful and altogether hostile. A simple error in judgment could yield harrowing results, several of which ended with players personally testing the child-shredding power of a giant buzzsaw. For the record, a giant buzzsaw's child-shredding power is very high.

11. V.A.T.S Meets Grenades - Fallout

Vault-Tec's Assisted Targeting System added a fantastically dynamic, turn-based element to real-time combat. As with all Bethesda RPGs, Fallout's kill-cams are both horrifying and majestic things to behold. A well-placed grenade can border on the excessive side of "safe bets."

10. Force-Pushing A Rocket Back To The Dark Side - Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast

Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is arguably the most complete, Jedi gaming experience to date. Starting out as the former Jedi and active scoundrel, Kyle Katarn, players gradually re-learned the ways of the force, before mastering them all completely. Not only did this game pioneer and perfect just about every Jedi power that The Force Unleashed made famous, it also had the best lightsaber duels seen to date.

His profile picture features James as Serbian, vampire comic Dorde Mehailo with His anonymous Brother and Uncle at the Nerdmelt Showroom in West Hollywood. In James' spare time, he engages in acting, writing, athletics, hydration, hours of great pondering and generally wishing you'd like him.
