2. It's A Smartglass Tablet
We know that SmartGlass is going to be an integral part of Xbox One games going forward. We also know that there's a strong possibility of Microsoft releasing a new Surface tablet aimed at Xbox One gamers later this year. Microsoft's new tablet could be called the Xbox Fusion. The Oxford English dictionary defines fusion as; "The process or result of joining two or more things together to form a single entity." It's easy to see from a marketing stance where the word fusion could be used to sell compatible tablets for console gaming. A Surface tablet combining the functionality of Windows, with integrated Xbox Live and compatibility with Xbox One makes sense as a product. It's something that would definitely be a boost to both developers and the gaming community. It would make sense for a tablet combining such functionality to be called Fusion. But Microsoft is already trying to establish a brand with Surface tablets, why market a similar tablet as the Xbox Fusion? You're competing with yourself if you release two different brands of the exact same product. Then there's the danger of crowding it with buzz words; the Xbox Fusion Surface tablet with SmartGlass for Xbox One on Xbox Live. It's jammed with buzzwords.
