And finally, there's the game set to drop millions of jaws this time next year: the fourth entry into the Uncharted series, A Thief's End. As if that staggering original teaser trailer wasn't enough, an incredible 15-minute gameplay demo hit the web recently, showing off an intense firefight as well as a number of new gameplay mechanics, namely the fine-tuned AI and Drake's new grappling hook ability. Still, what had everyone talking was the visual presentation: the game looks absolutely gorgeous, no more than when Drake is talking to his older brother, Sam. The quality of the facial animations and lip-sync is simply unreal, like nothing else that's been seen in a game before. If Naughty Dog can maintain that graphical fidelity to the final product (something that's never a guarantee these days), then they'll have a truly next-gen experience on their hands.
