11. Fallout 4 PC Mods Can Be Used On Xbox One (And Later On PS4)
It's a foregone conclusion that the PC version of Fallout 4 is going to be a wet dream for the modding community, but Microsoft answered the prayers of console fans by confirming that these mods would also be transferable to Xbox One, and later on, the PS4 also. Given that the pervasiveness of trophies and achievements have pretty much stamped out the whole idea of cheats and mods on consoles, it's refreshing to see a developer going against the grain, even if doing so in a way that doesn't interfere with these accolades won't be easy. As for why it's coming to Xbox One first? The answer is simple: Microsoft are obviously more familiar with a PC infrastructure than Sony, so it'll be easier to get the Xbox One kitted out with the right software first. As a little icing on the cake, Bethesda won't be charging for any of the mods released for the game either.
