2. Super Mario 64
This could be made into a lovely looking game if done properly. The castle could become a thing of splendour, oozing with luxury that the original platform couldn't convey. We at WhatCulture! can already picture it, thick red carpets running through the building, artwork on the walls would be something to rival the work of Da Vinci, and then there's the paintings with, in our minds, would put Van Gogh to shame. And then there would be the levels themselves. A lot of Mario's charm is the fact that it is simple and cartoon like but to be able to see the characters that we all know and love with some added depth and va va voom would be the icing on the cake.
1. The Legend of Zelda - Majora's Mask
What could be better than to have a HD version of the massively popular game starring the green tunic clad boy named Link? Nothing could be better. Ever. Ok, so we might be getting carried away but we do think it would be a pretty awesome idea. There are so many beautiful scenes and characters in this game that the thought of having them visually enhanced to the highest standard makes us positively giddy with excitement. Amongst the characters that would look great up on the screen are the Zoras and their underwater habitat, the Dekus with their love of all things greenery and the Gorons who, even though the y have a stony exterior are soft and gentle underneath. Once you've got past them trying to take you out that is. Not only that, Wii U has the perfect set up to do this game justice because not only would they be able to soup up the graphics, they would also be able to use the small screen as a viewer for the various weapons such as the bow and arrow and the grappling hook to give it something extra from the original game style. Can you think of any more games you'd like to see brought back with Wii U to have a new lease of life? Let us know!
