4 Things Batman: Arkham Origins Stole From The Dark Knight Trilogy

1. The Old Snap Your Sword With My Forearm Claws Trick

Sword 2 This one is so like-for-like there'd be little surprise if it was Warner Bros Montreal's way of giving more than a little nod to Batman Begins. In the first trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins, The Caped Crusader is going having a really intense game of catch the assassin with Deathstroke. When his red and black adversary starts to get swingy with his sword, Bruce breaks out the arm spikes and eventually traps Deathstroke's weapon in his scallops and, by yanking his wrists apart, actually snaps the blade. Sword 1 How does he know that will work? Because he's done it before during that fight with Ras Al Guhl on the monorail in Batman Begins. Except that time he also had the presence of mind to accompany it with a pithy comeback. When Ras €“ Bats' former teacher €“ quips, "Don't you have anything new?" Bruce growls, "How about this?" And bingo, sword in pieces on the floor. Take that Ras. What do you make of all this, then? Let us know in the comments section below.
