30. NFL 2K5 (PS2, Xbox)
Considered by some to be the best football game ever, NFL 2K5 set the bar high for the Madden Series. It was a lot of fun to actually be good at a sport, even if that sport was button-mashing my way into the endzone. This was the first football game I ever played, and it will always have a place in my heart. The most fun part of the game was the custom stadium music feature; I loved picking my favorite track and putting it on loop. Anybody else want to listen to "Try Me" for two hours straight?
Best Part: The custom music feature. I literally just listed this above. Were you not reading or something?
29. Lord Of the Rings: The Two Towers (PS2, Xbox)
Possibly the best movie-based game to date, except Spider-man 2. It was great and tons of fun; any LOTR fan would be lucky to have this on their shelf. Sadly, I sold this game at a garage sale years ago; it was in a bin labeled, "Best Childhood Lord Of The Rings Game". Moral of the story, I was very specific in my labeling.
Best Part: The game was constantly transitioning between footage from the films and actual gameplay. This worked really well, and showed fans a few scenes from a Lord Of The Rings movie that (at that time) hadn't been released yet.
