Simpsons: Hit & Run would sell MILLIONS.

A growing trend in gaming for the last few years has seen developers look towards their back catalogue and see which classics they can present to today's audience, including various graphical and gameplay enhancements.

So far we have seen the likes of Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil and Final Fantasy step out from the time machine better than ever.

This catalyses a conversation about what other blasts from the past we could see resurrected. The greater question however, is what games should be remade. I think we can all agree that FIFA 2005 is one title that can remain in the past.

To avoid over-saturation when it comes to remakes, developers have to be picky and decide what games truly need a touch-up, which games will make an impact on the market, and what titles can make the transition to current-gen successfully.

With all that in mind, there are some classic games that fit the bill far better than others.

5. Dino Crisis

While Capcom have a greater horror reputation for their Resident Evil series, they also managed to deliver another gem during the original PlayStation era. Dino Crisis took the Resident Evil formula and applied it to the giants that occupied the Earth millions of years ago.

Although they are a staple of modern horror, zombies have very much become to gaming like sharks are for movies, there are just so many titles that look to the undead as their serial baddies. What could help to cut the saturation and give a bit of breathing time is a survival-horror game with dinosaurs stalking you.

Imagine if they took the Mr X mechanic and applied it to a T Rex, stalking you around the compound tirelessly.
