5 Reasons Why RPG Worlds Are Dooming Themselves

4. Law

Which brings me to the next point. No law means chaos just waiting to happen. I didn't even realize when I was younger that RPGs are promoting animal cruelty, homicide, and most of all theft. Sure there are valid reasons for killing every single animal that looks at you and sure you're only acting in self-defense when a human attacks you, but the theft is uncalled for. How many times have you walked into a civilian's house, took something from a drawer, and left? If you could do it, what's stopping anyone else from? Imagine a whole town of people breaking into any house, taking some money, and leave without saying a word because they could. I would assume this would boost the community's sense of unity if you will, but one thing's for sure, this is not the way to accomplish that. People will get angry. I don't know about you, but I would hate for my neighbor to come in and take the pie I'm drooling over just because they could smell it from next door. And don't even mention the beer.
