1. It Made Me Cry

Yep, that's right. You're not going to get any excuses out of me. I openly shed a tear or two as Gone Home reached it's end. Now I don't proclaim myself to be the most alpha male ever. In fact my only real manly credits are that I can seemingly open any jar on Earth (the worst super-power ever) and I did not cry at the end of Marley and Me. But still, I have never ever got so emotional over a video game before. Never. But here, I am sitting on my sofa at home, finding that Gone Home really affected me. You see, as Gone Home reaches it's end, the emotions are amped up, and, well... I honestly do not want to spoil it but after a few twists and turns your emotions are heightened. I think maybe the horror setting and the willingness to open up to getting scared amplified everything else. Gone Home is an amazing game. There is no other way I can think to describe it. It is available on Steam for Mac and PC and urge you to go and experience it for yourself. There is a little bit of a high price tag for it but it is definitely worth the gamble. Now excuse me, I need to go and recover. Have you played Gone Home? What did you make of it? Make some noise in the comments below...
