5 Totally Insane Video Game Bonus Levels

1. Skyrim: The Deathbrand Treasure Room

Skyrim is a game where you can kill nearly anbody, loot their bodies and homes, and help yourself to pretty much anything - if you're a callous jerk. My thief is a good thief, but even so - I"m not a dick about it.

There are plenty of treasure troves all over Skyrim, and there's plenty of ways to earn gold Septims, but the last, and greatest treasure trove of all belongs to an ancient Nordic pirate by the name of Haknir Deathbrand, who's tomb is in Solstheim.

Not sure why this is a bonus level? Allow me to explain. You begin the quest with a treasure map. Each "X" on the map marks a piece of the legendary Deathbrand Armor, the helmet, gauntlets, boots, and cuirass respectively. After obtaining this EXTREMELY AWESOME set of armor for minimal resistance (a few pirates, some mudcrabs... eh), you are finally sent to the tomb of Haknir Deathbrand. After you enter it, and carve your way through some enchanted Stahlrim, this sight awaits you.

Inside the room, there's piles of gold numbering over 10,000 coins. Plus that, there are gems, valuable potions, armor, and weapons - it is THE largest pile of loot in the game, and nothing else even comes close to it. Merely finishing the quest has already made you rich!

However, upon you filling your digital pockets with the digital currency, you'll notice that the way you came in is now blocked - you have to proceed into the next room, where you find a sweet new enchanted Scimitar named Bloodscythe! ...oh, and there's some douche waiting for you, too.

And... about 20 or so of his spectral crew, who all immediately come to hack your guts out. Assuming you survive and kill all of the lackeys, and lay Haknir back to rest, you leave the barrow with some sweet new armor, a pair of badass Scimitars... oh, and the horde of the aforementioned loot. Everybody wins!
