4. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Mile High Club (20g): Sky Dive to Safety on Veteran Difficulty
CoD 4 is ridiculous enough on the veteran difficulty setting; the whole game at that level seems to be driven by a giddy concoction of skill and luck. Stop and youll die. Push forward and youll die. Retreat and youll die. In fact, dyings what youll do more than anything else if you choose to play through CoD 4s campaign on its highest difficulty setting. Thats why Mile High Club is such a ridiculously difficult achievement. Youve got to fight your way through a plane loaded with enemies, from one end to the other, avoiding death with each millisecond before, as the achievement says, finally sky-diving to safety. Oh and youve got to do it in 1 minute too. And all for a measly 20g! This isnt an achievement simply for the Gamerscore, this one is for bragging rights; gamers whove achieved it boast about their accomplishment like they did it in real life. And so they should.
