When the first two Tony Hawk's came out online play was a long way off, but it is essential in 2020 and thankfully Vicarious Visions have again delivered.

An online mode was introduced during the Playstation 2 titles, but the majority of players didn't venture into this area of Tony Hawk's. Instead, the series became known for its offline split screen multiplayer which saw players compete in famous modes such as Trick Attack, Graffiti and Horse. All these and more make a return as skateboarding makes huge steps forward in the online world. Players can take on their friends, as well as others around the globe in various different events.

Each game all lasts a short amount of time and once a round is done the next one starts within 30 seconds. Another nice touch is that after every few games the level automatically changes meaning you will get plenty of variety without having to go in and out of the lobby.

With no delay the gameplay is exactly the same as offline and for many competitive players this is where they could spend a huge amount of their time.

Alongside Create A Park, Multiplayer is where the biggest additions have been made and for those who enjoy a competitive environment it is perfect.
